We welcome anyway of fundraising for GIANT Word Winder!® We offer ABC fundraiser’s Scratch and Help method as a way to fundraise because it is a simple and easy solution. But, if you have a fundraising method that you prefer we will happily work with you whatever way you’d like to fundraise. We also welcome grant funding for GIANT Word Winder® and can help you create an informed grant proposal if that’s the route you’d like to go.
We like to play with 18 students at a time. Typically we split up into three teams of six. This gives everyone a chance to make one word each and also makes working in a team a little easier. If you have more players than six on a team, it works also! Eighteen is just the number we like to stick to when demonstrating the game.
GIANT Word Winder® can be played at any grade or reading level. We recommend different ways of playing to different levels of literacy. Third grade all the way up to adults can play the game the way it is advertised, with the end goal to WIN the game. Pre K through second grade play in a little different way. Usually we work on identifying letters, identifying word that start with a certain letter or end with a certain letter. We will have students try to identify consonants, vowels, nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc. There are many ways to play GIANT Word Winder® with children of ALL ages and we’d love to show you how!
GIANT Word Winder® is about 9 feet by 9 feet and needs about 12 feet by 12 feet of space to be able to play the game comfortably.
